July Maiden Flight! United Aircraft’s ” T1400″ and ” R6000″ Make Global Debut at Paris Air Show
On June 16, the 55th Paris Air Show kicked off in grandeur at Le Bourget Airport. Amid a gathering of over 2,500 global aerospace enterprises, United Aircraft took center stage with its groundbreaking new products – the T1400 tandem unmanned helicopter and the R6000 tiltrotor aircraft – marking a resolute entry onto the international scene and showcasing China’s technological prowess and strategic industrial footprint in low-altitude intelligent equipment.

T1400: A High-Performance Ton-Class Platform for Multisector Efficiency
T1400 stands out in the large unmanned helicopter category category with its exceptional capabilities: a maximum takeoff weight of 1,400 kg, 650 kg payload capacity (including fuel), twin 130 kW engines, a range exceeding 900 km, and an operational ceiling of 6,500 meters. Notably, it boasts remarkable environmental adaptability, operating stably in extreme temperatures from -40°C to 55°C and enduring 6-level winds during takeoff/landing and 8-level winds mid-flight.
Agricultural Protection: With a spraying capacity of 2,000 acres per hour (4× faster than small multirotor drones).
Monitoring & Emergency Response: Excels in efficiency, capable of deploying firefighting payloads for forest rescue missions.
Logistics: Its high payload and altitude performance enable high-value cargo transport in challenging environments.
Search and Rescue (SAR): Features an integrated cabin with stretcher and medical equipment, meeting “Air Ambulance 120” mission standards.

R6000: A Boundary-Defying Tiltrotor Reshaping Future Logistics
The R6000 tiltrotor aircraft has captured global attention by addressing unmet needs in long-distance, point-to-point vertical takeoff/landing (VTOL) transport. Its staggering specs include:
Max takeoff weight: 6 tons
Payload capacity: 2 tons
Cruising speed: 550 km/h
Unmanned or manned operation
This versatility positions it as a game-changer for intercity commuting, long-range emergency supply delivery, and rapid personnel transport, laying the foundation for future high-efficiency aerial mobility networks.
Technical Breakthroughs:
United Aircraft’s R&D team adopted an optimized tiltrotor-only design, eliminating risks posed by engine exhaust to personnel or ship decks. The R6000 has already passed critical ground engine tests, and its AES100 engine recently received production certification. A helicopter-mode maiden flight is slated for July 2025. As one of the few global tiltrotor prototypes to reach flight testing, the R6000 signifies China’s ascent into the world’s top tier of tiltrotor technology, pioneering new pathways for low-altitude economy development.

Holistic Capabilities: Building a Low-Altitude Ecosystem
Beyond the T1400 and R6000, United Aircraft showcased its flagship lineup:
TD550 Unmanned Helicopter: China’s first certified unmanned helicopter, excelling in complex missions.
Ray Shadow Q20: 73-minute endurance for precision tasks like power grid inspection and logistics.
Q100 Agricultural Drone: Specialized in crop spraying, seeding, and transport.
With platforms spanning 5 kg to 2-ton payloads, United Aircraft delivers end-to-end solutions for diverse operational needs, solidifying its role as a backbone of the low-altitude economy.
Global Spotlight on Innovation
Against the backdrop of rapid transformation in aviation and the low-altitude sector, the Paris Air Show highlighted unmanned, smart, and low-carbon technologies. United Aircraft’s dual debut underscores its ambition to pioneer Chinese-led commercial and technical paradigms in low-altitude transport, emergency response, and smart inspection—propelling the industry toward an intelligent, high-efficiency future.
